General Information
Registration is on a first come first served basis. No exceptions can be made.

Ages: 7-12 years old.

Dates and Locations: Each StringTime week lasts 5 days. Students may enroll in one or multiple weeks. The camp content is different each week. Locations change every two weeks:

Instruments: Students choose one instrument per week: violin, viola, OR cello. Students attending multiple weeks may choose to play the same instrument or a different one. ​
Level: StringTime Violin/Viola/Cello Camp is perfect for students with no experience and those with a range of prior experience (those who have played in school to those who are proficient in 1st -2nd positions, in Suzuki books 1-2, or play at VBDOA Grades 1-2). Our flexible curriculum and highly skilled teachers ensure all students are challenged and inspired. Times: Check-in is between 9:00 - 9:25am Mondays-Fridays. Students who are dropped off before 9:00am will be charged $50. Camp ends at 4:45pm Monday-Thursday. Students who are not picked up by 5:00pm Mondays-Thursdays will be billed $50. Each week of camp concludes with a Friday concert for family and friends from 5:00-6:00 with a reception to follow.
Concert: StringTime campers and faculty will perform in a concert at the end of each week. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. Concerts are always on Fridays from 5:00-6:00 with a reception to follow. Please bring a dessert or finger food to the reception.

Deposit: $75 due upon registration. The deposit becomes non-refundable after February 28th.
Tuition: An invoice will be sent via email with the remaining tuition balance within 48 hours of registering. The balance is due by June 1st.

Early Bird Tuition (through February 28): $525/first week or $425/each additional week

Regular Tuition (after March 1): $625/first week or $500/each additional week

Sibling Discount: $80/first week, $70/each additional week

Friend Discount: Receive $50 off tuition for each friend who registers

Scholarships: StringTime offers partial need based scholarships. Email lourdes@stringtimemusic.org to request the scholarship application.

Attendances and Absences: Full camp attendance is expected (camp day + the concert). The StringTime curriculum builds so it's important that students don't miss.

Refunds: No refunds will be issued after June 1st. Students who drop between June 1st - 7th may receive a credit towards a future StringTime program. Any student who drops after June 7th will not receive a credit or a refund.
Camp Week Cancellation: StringTime reserves the right to cancel any week that does not meet sufficient enrollment. In this event, participants will receive a full refund or may attend another week.
Registration Closes: When sessions are full.

Food: Students must bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle to camp each day. Parents are also asked to bring a dessert or finger food for the concert reception on Fridays.
Dress Code: Camp is casual. Please note, cellists hold the instrument between their legs. Students should dress accordingly. All students must wear jeans and their provided StringTime t-shirts for the concert. No exceptions can be made.
