For the student without prior experience

StringTime is perfect for students who want to try violin, viola, or cello without getting locked into an instrument rental contract or long-term commitment to lessons. Show up on Day 1 of camp without ever having touched an instrument and play in a concert on Day 5.

For the student with experience

StringTime is also perfect for students with a range of prior experience; those who have played in school to those who are proficient in 1st-2nd positions, in Suzuki books 1-2, or play at VBDOA Grades 1-2. Our teachers use a flexible curriculum to ensure all students are challenged and inspired. If you are unsure whether your child would be a good fit for camp, please email us at lourdes@stringtimemusic.org.
